I've sailed on many Carnival Cruise Line ships, so I wanted to share some of my favorite drinks and cocktails. Whenever I go on a cruise, these are some of my go-to drinks to order. Please be aware that some drinks are exclusively on the menu at certain bars though. Most specialty drinks, alcoholic drinks included, on the ship start at around $6.50.
Keep scrolling to see some of the best drinks to order during your next cruise!
Mocha Chocolate Getaway - Made with Irish cream, Flor de Caña Rum, and rich Ghirardelli chocolate. I like to order this drink during the evening as a dessert option. This is the perfect version of an adult milkshake.
White Chocolate Caramel Frappe - Made with a Ghirardelli blend, this is one of the four flavors of frappes. Whenever you order, you also have the option of making this a spiked coffee drink. Frappes are available at the JavaBlue Cafe.
The Cruiser - Made with Absolut Vodka, Malibu Coconut Rum, Peach Schnapps, pineapple, cranberry, and orange juice. This quickly became my favorite cocktail. Whenever I go on a cruise, I usually have 2-3 of them per day. This is personally one of the strongest mixed drinks I found offered on the ship.
Classic Mojito - Made from Bacardi limón, fresh lime, mint, and club soda. Mojitos can be found in a variety of bars, but I found the mojitos to taste the best from the Havana Bar.
Kiss On The Lips - Made with mango puree, grenadine, and Peach Schnapps. I consider this to be one of the best frozen drinks on Carnival ships. It's not very strong, so you could consider adding an extra shot of your favorite liquor. This drink can be ordered alcohol-free.
Jamaican Sunrise - Made with Skyy Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Red Passion Fruit, Orange and Cranberry Juice. One of my favorite drinks to get at the Redfrog Pub are the fish bowls and this is the usual pick for me. If you're looking for a strong drink, I would definitely suggest giving this one a try.
Miami Vice - Made with piña colada and strawberry daiquiri layered together. Nothing says vacation time to me like a Miami Vice! This is another drink that can also be ordered alcohol-free, which is kid-friendly.
I hope this post has given you some new drink ideas for your next cruise or trip. If you're interested in seeing more of my favorite drinks, let me know in the comments if you want a Part 2!
